New Articles Age Of Conan’s Violence Toned Down For Germany

The community manager for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures posted on the official forums there will be some slight changes in the game for players living Germany. The game will feature “full gore,” but not allow decapitation, dismemberment or “over-the-top” fatalities. The rest of Europe is free of censorship and can enjoy decapitations to their heart’s content. Germans should also feel free to pick up the game from another European country to avoid the censorship.
The community manager also originally reported that the US version “will not see nipples.” At the time there was no word if the negative nipple mandate applied only to female mammaries or if the men will also need to wear pasties. Since then a correction has been posted and the US is free to see “breasts with nipples.” Hooray! But “full nudity” is apparently not allowed. Boo!
